The Great coil with it’s pincushion plasma jet has been cut from the old device and installed under the shell frame. This is a flat spiral wound coil of 130 turns of 14ga wire @ 5 turns to the inch, plastic welded to the polypropylene base and tested to resist 40,000 volts per turn. It is connected to one side of the primary coil to act as an autocoil for a total of 154 turns in action. In this application it will operate at 100,000 volts to start with. Driven by 15,000 volt primary coil driver through the black primary coil at 600volts per turn.
