Just about noon the snow started to fall on bare warm ground. A tentative dusting of fine powder at the start  on dusty dry soil and leaves followed by heavier clumps of crystalline water more like sugar rather then flakes. Forecast is for 13 inches over the next 24 hours.

Well, for us at 2,000ft, that was a bust. By Thanksgiving just 2-3inches of very wet snow left on the ground. A thousand feet higher, they have lots of snow. Good for them! I’ve had enough living in snow country. They can have it! Beautiful to look at,  not so much to live in. The next storm will be several inches of rain. A good start to the winter.  …pg

A different point of view is needed in Washington DC

They are servants, that work for US, …………..they are not our leaders!

The Constitution is a Contract that LIMITS their powers and must be observed to the letter! The Federal government is not a Sovereign over the people and the States. The people and states created the federal government to be a Servant and not their master.

The permanent bureaucracy must be chained to carry out the policies of our elected officials under the constraints of the HIGHEST LAW in the land. They can not be allowed to create policy and dictate conditions or they will destroy everything in their greed for wealth and power.

From their creation to total destruction of the society they manage takes about 300 years.   Through out all of history this has been the case. Bureaucracy grows until they strangle society with regulation, taxes and fees. Then the people get desperate under that burden and destroy everything and kill off their tormentors. Society goes through a Dark Age and then rebuilds, begins to add bureaucratic management to maintain the peace while the Bureaucracy grows it’s self, adding to it’s funding and reach into peoples lives and pockets until the next crash.

It really is us or them, and we don’t need them. While the bureaucrats were few,weak  and poorly paid America Grew and prospered. A poor and backward country became the world super power.  As long as they are over worked and under payed they act like servants.  But, as they gain wealth through better pay and power they have the leisure to dream up new projects. Projects that require new streams of funding and regulations,  They soon acquire the attitude that they are the rulers and the people are their servants to work and fund their projects that will attest to their Grand Importance. It is human nature, bureaucrats dream of creating greater Empires to Rule. …pg
